Wage Subsidies

To assist in reducing your payroll costs Advance can offer the following wage subsidies depending on the individual job seeker’s requirements…

13 weeks @ 8 – 14 hrs per week = $1,500  (Disability Support Pension)

13 weeks @ 15+ hrs per week = $1,500  (Newstart Allowance)

26 weeks @ 8 – 14 hrs per week = $2,000 – $2,500 (Disability Support Pension)

26 weeks @ 15+ hrs per week = $2,000 – $2,500 (Newstart Allowance)

Wage subsidies are usually paid at the following intervals; however this may be negotiated on an individual basis…

13 Week Subsidy

  • 4 weeks
  • 8 weeks
  • 13 weeks

26 Week Subsidy

  • 4 weeks
  • 13 weeks
  • 26 weeks

In order to receive the full wage subsidy the job seeker must complete the specified hours of work per week and the number of weeks negotiated.
