About Advance Employment

Advance Employment Inc. is a not for profit Mental Health Community organisation funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).  Advance Employment is a specialist mental health Disability Employment Service (DES) service provider.  Advance has been in operation in the Townsville region since 1996.

Management and staff at Advance Employment realise that successful service delivery occurs as a result of positive and supportive relationships with job seekers based on dignity, trust and respect.

Advance Employment’s service delivery is based on the philosophy and methodology of Dr William Glasser’s Choice Theory, Reality Therapy and Lead Management.

Our service is structured to ensure that the needs of both the employer and the job seeker are met. 

We offer the employer the security of knowing that post placement support is provided – imagine having your own personal HR assistant!

Job seekers registered with Advance Employment have a diverse range of skills and abilities and as such look for work for permanent positions, apprenticeships & traineeships, entry level positions and temporary positions.

Advance Employment takes pride in assisting job seekers to smoothly transition in to the workplace, providing on going support for both the employer and the employee.  Qualified job seekers are available to fill casual, part time or full time vacancies; we are able to be flexible in meeting employment vacancies.  Job seekers are also available to fill apprenticeship and traineeships.
