Advance Employment Inc. is a not for profit Mental Health Community organisation funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).  Advance Employment is a specialist mental health Disability Employment Service (DES) service provider.  Advance has been in operation in the Townsville region since 1996.

Management and staff at Advance Employment realise that successful service delivery occurs as a result of positive and supportive relationships with job seekers based on dignity, trust and respect.
Service delivery is based on the philosophy and methodology of Dr William Glasser’s Choice Theory, Reality Therapy and Lead Management.

Advance Employment understands how difficult it can sometimes be for people who are experiencing mental health difficulties to cope with work.  If you feel that your job is at risk you may be eligible for assistance under the Jobs in Jeopardy program.  You may be experiencing more sick days than usual and just don’t feel that you can cope with the tasks that your job requires.

• This service is provided free of charge, is completely confidential and designed to support you to maintain your current employment.
